Security measures will be intensified at the recruitment centers and military units following a series of explosions
Law enforcement agencies are preparing to enhance security measures at the premises and areas of recruitment centers and social support. Similar actions will be implemented in military units and establishments under the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This information was provided by the communications department of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in response to inquiries regarding incidents of attacks on recruitment centers, as reported by Public.
“Currently, the law enforcement agencies are conducting investigations into the attacks on recruitment centers and social support. In all military units, institutions, and establishments under the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, security measures have been strengthened to protect personnel, civilian staff, and visitors from potential emergencies,” – the statement reads.
In particular, the following measures have already been implemented:
Furthermore, additional briefings for personnel and civilian staff on cooperation with emergency services, police, and security services in case of discovering unknown objects on military premises, unauthorized access by outsiders, and other emergencies have already taken place.
On February 2, an explosion occurred near the premises of the recruitment center in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region. One person was reported injured.
On February 1, an explosion took place at the recruitment and social support center in Rivne. One person died and six were injured.
