On the evening of Tuesday, December 24, a collision occurred between a Seat Toledo and a Dacia Lodgy at the intersection of Central Avenue and 6th Slobodskaya Street in Mykolaiv.
This was reported by a correspondent from “Novosti-N” at the scene.
The Dacia vehicle, traveling along the avenue from 9th Slobodskaya towards Sadovaya Street, began to turn left at the intersection towards Chkalov Street. During the turn, the Dacia collided with the Seat, which was crossing the avenue from 6th Slobodskaya Street, heading towards Chkalov Street from the direction of the Narodny Sad park.
As a result of the accident, no one was injured, though both vehicles sustained mechanical damage.
Both drivers claim they were proceeding on a green traffic signal.
The accident caused significant traffic jams on Central Avenue and 6th Slobodskaya Street.
