In the center of Mykolaiv, an Audi hit a woman, who was taken away in critical condition.

On the evening of Monday, December 9, an Audi A6 vehicle struck a woman who was crossing the street at an unregulated pedestrian crossing on Central Avenue in Mykolaiv.

This information was reported by a correspondent from "Novosti-N" at the scene of the incident.

The Audi was traveling along the avenue from the direction of Sadovaya Street towards 3rd Slobodskaya Street. At the intersection with 1st Slobodskaya Street, the car hit the woman as she was crossing the street from right to left in the direction of the vehicle's movement.

After the impact, the woman fell and struck her head hard against the asphalt. An ambulance that arrived at the scene urgently transported the victim to the hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of "traumatic brain injury," and her condition is considered severe.

A massive traffic jam formed on Central Avenue from Sadovaya Street, as only one lane remained open for passing vehicles.
