In "Skazka," during an air raid alert, the bomb shelter was closed: the director explained the situation with the security guard
In the children's town "Skazka" in Mykolaiv, it was clarified that the bomb shelter on their premises was closed during the alert because the security guard went to the restroom.
The director of "Skazka," Natalia Dymchishina, shared this information on Facebook.
“On January 12, an incident occurred at the children's town 'Skazka.' During the 'Air Raid' signal, one of the shelter doors was closed, preventing visitors with children from entering. The security guard, who was on duty at that time, left for the restroom located in another room. The internal doors closed automatically, which led to this unfortunate incident,” she wrote.
The director noted that the external doors of the building and the main entrance to the shelter remained open.
“The administration of the institution apologizes for this unfortunate incident. Fortunately, no one was harmed. An internal investigation will be conducted regarding this matter, and appropriate measures will be taken,” the statement said.
