This was announced during a telethon by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim.

“The energy workers have already connected all subscribers. Currently, the temperature is slightly lower than the standard, but this is due to the gradual increase in temperature within the network. I believe we will reach the standard indicators within a day, provided there are no unforeseen circumstances,” Kim stated.

He also emphasized that all subscribers are now connected to the network and explained the action plan:

“We essentially carried out the entire algorithm overnight. Here’s how it went: the valves that were not opened to prevent the system from overheating or, conversely, draining in high-rise buildings, and this network is extensive. It was necessary to gradually increase the pressure; we did not wait for a specific time. We moved forward, for example, with OSMD and ZHEKs, at the same pace. Coordination between OSMB and ZHEKs with energy workers was needed to systematize everything. This has already been accomplished; I thank the energy workers and ZHEKs because it was done in the manner we had planned,” added the head of the OVA.

He also noted that two plans were developed to address the issue - an optimistic and a realistic one.

“We followed the optimistic plan. We anticipated that there might be emergencies, and there were very few, which were resolved. Therefore, currently, everything is connected, and heating is being supplied. According to the realistic plan, it was supposed to take 3-4 days, and the weather was also a factor, as some pipes could have frozen, leading to more problems. For now, everything is fine; we just need to vent some sections, but overall, the situation has been rectified,” Kim summarized.

As a result of the attack, there is damage to critical infrastructure, and a fire has broken out. Additionally, due to falling debris and the shockwave, five apartment buildings have been damaged.

As a result of the attack, a 64-year-old man was injured and has been hospitalized. His condition is currently stable.

In the center of Mykolaiv, a "Shahed" exploded on the roadway - offices and shops were damaged.
