In Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic, a "Unity Hub" will be established to facilitate the return of male refugees to Ukraine.

Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity Oleksii Chernyshov states that 50% of conscription-age men are willing to return to Ukraine without waiting for the end of the war, provided that the issue of conscription exemptions is resolved.

"50% of conscription-age men are ready to return to Ukraine today, without waiting for the war to end, if the issue of exemptions is addressed. Currently, the war is not the factor preventing men from returning. Undoubtedly, they are frightened by the prospect of potential mobilization. Whether this is good or bad is something we will assess later, but it is a fact," Chernyshov said during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, De-occupation, and Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities, and Interethnic Relations, which took place on December 23.

In this context, he mentioned that future "Unity Hubs" abroad should provide services related to employment in Ukraine as well as assistance with mobilization and military registration documents.

As previously reported, on December 3, the Rada appointed A. Chernyshov as Vice Prime Minister – Minister of National Unity of Ukraine. Consequently, the Cabinet of Ministers renamed the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories to the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine.

On December 23, Vice Prime Minister Chernyshov presented the working concept of the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine. In particular, an Agency for National Unity will be established under the Ministry, which will open departments in key countries where Ukrainians reside, primarily in Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic. "Unity Hubs" will be created in the capitals of these countries.

Additionally, Chernyshov announced that the Ministry of National Unity will work on preparing a draft law on national unity and a special digital platform called Unity App.
