Ukraine is ready to sign a peace agreement, - Trump
Donald Trump, the newly elected president of the United States, called for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine and the commencement of negotiations, announcing this on Truth Social.
Commenting on the fall of Bashar Assad's regime in Syria, Trump noted that Russia has lost interest in Syria due to the war in Ukraine, where, according to him, approximately 600,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded.
He asserts that Ukraine and Vladimir Zelensky are prepared for a peace agreement.
"Zelensky and Ukraine also wish to reach an agreement and put an end to this madness. They have senselessly lost 400,000 soldiers and many more civilians. A ceasefire must be established immediately, and negotiations should begin. Too many lives have been lost in vain, too many families have been destroyed, and if this continues, it could escalate into something much larger and far worse. I know Vladimir well. This is his time to act. China can help. The world is waiting," Trump added.
