The Russian Federation has amassed over 100 missiles and may be preparing a new strike on Ukraine.

It is possible that the Russian army is gearing up for a large-scale combined attack on Kyiv and other cities. This is evidenced by the recent drone strikes from Russia.

This was stated by Vladislav Seleznev, former head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and military expert, in a comment to TSN.ua.

According to him, the occupiers might utilize their missile and artillery weapons when the temperature in Ukraine significantly drops, which would increase the strain on the energy sector.

"The reason for the large number of 'Shaheds' is likely that the enemy is stockpiling missiles to implement their strategy of mass missile and drone terror. This is aimed at reliably destroying specific elements of our air defense system and ensuring the destruction of key components of our country's energy infrastructure. They rely on quantity (of missiles and drones)," the military expert stated.

He noted that Ukraine's air defense has its limitations—there is a shortage of anti-aircraft systems and the missiles for them. Therefore, it is likely that the enemy is accumulating resources, and the attack could be a combined one. According to unofficial data, in the past two months, Russia may have stockpiled over 120 units of X-101/555 missiles alone.

"The enemy has the capability to produce drones in large quantities. In October, they employed over 2,000 UAVs. Some experts doubted that the occupiers could manufacture a thousand, yet as we can see, they used twice that amount. One should not underestimate the enemy, as it could lead to dire consequences," said Vladislav Seleznev.

He emphasized that the enemy has a very opportune moment for large-scale missile terror due to the weather conditions, when heating systems are operating at maximum capacity, and the load on the energy infrastructure is high.
