Over the past 24 hours, on October 2nd, firefighters from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region were called to extinguish various types of fires seven times.

Three fires were recorded in residential premises. Thanks to the prompt actions of the firefighters, three residential houses and one apartment were saved. A woman born in 1939 and a man born in 1957 were hospitalized with preliminary diagnoses of "carbon monoxide poisoning."
There were also two fires involving dry grass and reeds in open areas of the region, with the total area affected by flames exceeding 2.5 hectares.
In the village of Stantsionne, the duty crew from the 20th State Fire and Rescue Unit extinguished a fire in a Gazelle vehicle parked on the premises of a private household, covering an area of 5 square meters, thus preventing the vehicle from being completely destroyed.
A total of 12 units of equipment and 38 personnel from the State Emergency Service were involved in the firefighting efforts, alongside local fire brigades "Shevchenkove" and "Halitsynove." Law enforcement and medical personnel also worked at the sites. In rare cases, equipment from private enterprises was utilized.
