An enormous garbage dump was discovered near Mykolaiv, featuring towering piles of waste (video).

Following a report submitted through the #EcoThreat service, the Environmental Inspection inspectors discovered an illegal dump near the village of Mirolubovo (formerly Greigovo) in the Voskresensk community of the Mykolaiv region.
This information was reported by the Environmental Inspection of the southwestern district.
During the site visit, a large area contaminated with household and construction waste was documented: the dump covers more than 2000 m2, with a waste volume exceeding 1000 m3.
To expedite the cleanup of the dump, an official letter has been sent to the Voskresensk village council requesting immediate action.
