In Kyiv, due to inclement weather, the largest flag located at the Memorial Complex "National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II" has been damaged. This is reported by Novosti.LIVE.
It has been noted that the flag was torn down due to adverse weather conditions and strong winds. Currently, municipal workers are in the process of installing a new one.
0 1 2The information regarding the removal of the main flag of Ukraine has been confirmed by the Kyiv City State Administration, referencing K.O. "Kyivzelenstroy". They added that the flag's fabric is expected to be replaced by the end of Wednesday, December 11.
"The flag was damaged due to unfavorable weather conditions. They plan to complete the replacement work by the end of December 11," the KCSA stated.
It is worth noting that according to meteorologist Igor Kibalchich's forecast, on Tuesday, December 10, most of Ukraine will experience rain and fog with visibility of 200-500 meters. He also mentioned that there will be a southeast wind throughout the day, at 5-10 m/s.
As a reminder, the height of the flagpole for the main flag is nearly 90 meters, its weight is 32 tons, and the dimensions of the flag are 16 by 24 meters. The flagpole is situated at the Memorial Complex "National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II".
