At 2:06 AM, the Kyiv regional military administration announced that enemy drones had been spotted in the region and air defense forces were "engaging targets." Residents of Kyiv were urged to stay in shelters for their safety.
By 2:11 AM, "Suspilne" reported explosions in Kyiv. However, the Kyiv City State Administration and Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko did not comment on the situation.
The mayor of Izmail, Andriy Abramchenko, informed at 3:32 AM about the air defense operations and called for information silence. In the local Telegram channel, it was noted that three groups of drones were moving towards the city.
In the Sumy Regional Military Administration at 1:02 AM, it was reported that a drone had struck a residential high-rise building. Preliminary information indicated one fatality.
The city council later stated that the report of a deceased individual was not confirmed, but among the injured were a 7-year-old child and an 18-year-old young man in critical condition.
The head of the regional administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, clarified that the strike occurred at 00:18. The hit was in the central part of the building, trapping people under the debris.
In the Sumy city military administration, it was reported that there are already 9 injured, including one child.
The State Emergency Service stated that the drone struck a 10-story building, initially damaging 9 apartments and 12 balconies. Rescuers saved 4 people, including a child. Another 118 individuals were evacuated.

The regional military administration confirmed the deaths of two people and specified that the strike destroyed 5 apartments across four floors and 12 balconies. Additionally, over 20 vehicles were damaged. Five injured individuals, including a child, were hospitalized, three of whom are in serious condition.
