The President's Office has set a deadline for individuals classified as having limited fitness to undergo the military-medical commission (VVK).

According to Irina Vereshchuk, the requirement to undergo a repeat military medical commission will not apply to citizens with limited fitness who are under 25 years old.
В Офисе президента объявили предельные сроки для прохождения военно-врачебной комиссии для ограниченно годных граждан.

Limited fitness citizens of Ukraine will be given an additional four months to undergo a military medical commission. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the President's Office, Iryna Vereshchuk.

"A draft law with amendments regarding the passage of the military medical commission by individuals with limited fitness will soon be registered in the Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada," Vereshchuk wrote.

She clarified that this document will include two important provisions:

  • firstly, the deadline for mandatory passing of the military medical commission will be extended by another four months, moving the final deadline to early June 2025;
  • secondly, the obligation to undergo the military medical commission will not apply to individuals with limited fitness under the age of 25.

"Thank you to the Chairman of the Defense Committee, Oleksandr Zavitnevych, for his constructiveness and promptness. I strongly urge the members of parliament to support this draft law," emphasized Vereshchuk.

Recall that on January 24, Iryna Vereshchuk reported that the deadline for undergoing the repeated military medical commission for citizens of Ukraine with limited fitness would be extended, although she did not specify for how long.

On January 25, Iryna Vereshchuk stated that those with limited fitness would have at least three more months to complete the military medical commission.
