"Not just aviation is used": The National Guard shared insights on how Russians are operating near Chasovyi Yar.

The situation in the Kramatorsk direction, particularly around Chasovoy Yar, is quite tense. This was stated on the telethon by National Guard representative Ruslan Muzychuk.

"We have observed that for over a week, the enemy has significantly intensified its attacks in the Kramatorsk direction, especially in the area of the city. We see that the Russians are actively trying to deploy infantry groups, as well as occasionally armored vehicles in the vicinity of Stupochky, which is slightly south of Chasovoy Yar," Muzychuk said.

He noted that in the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy assault attempts within a day, most of which were aimed at the area of Chasovoy Yar.

According to him, the enemy has increased the number of personnel involved in infantry assaults, including motorized rifle units, airborne regiments, and special forces battalions.

"To strike the city, the Russians are using not only aviation and artillery but are also effectively deploying their drone units here. And we can see this," Muzychuk emphasized.

The military highlighted that the aggressor country continues to destroy Ukrainian cities and kill citizens of our country.

Recall that on January 26, the representative of the 24th brigade, Andrey Polukhin, stated that "Kadyrovites" and former "Wagner" fighters were spotted in battles for Chasovoy Yar.

On January 21, it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces completely destroyed the city of Chasovoy Yar in the Donetsk region and captured two blocks.
