Near Pokrovsk: Russian Armed Forces have advanced in 11 settlements in Donbas, according to DeepState (map).

The Russian army is continuing its active advance in the Donbas region. As stated in the latest report from the DeepState analytical team, Russian Armed Forces have made progress in 11 settlements in Donbas.

In particular, the Russian army is persistently advancing near Chasiv Yar and is gradually capturing the center of the city of Toretsk.

Additionally, the Russian army has occupied the settlement of Zelenoye and has made advances in Toretsk, Peschanoye, Yasenovoye, Novy Komar, near Vozdvizhenka, Udachnoye, Uspenovka, Novoelizavetovka, Slavyanka, Neskuchnoye, and Andreevka.

Meanwhile, the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) indicates that Russian troops recently cut off the T-0504 Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway east of Pokrovsk and the T-0406 Pokrovsk-Mezheva road to the southwest of Pokrovsk as part of their offensive towards Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.

According to reports from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past 24 hours, Russian Armed Forces attacked the positions of Defense Forces in the areas of the settlements of Baranovka, Zelenoye Pole, Yelizavetovka, Tarasovka, Nova Poltava, Novotoretske, Lisovka, Myrnohrad, Zelenoye, Novy Trud, Luch, Pokrovsk, Shevchenko, Udachnoye, Novovasyliivka, Uspenovka, Petropavlivka, Novoandriivka, Slavyanka, Serebryane, Andreevka, Kurakhovo, Dachne, and Yantarnoye.

"In particular, in the Pokrovsk direction, [the RF Armed Forces] suffered 218 military personnel killed and wounded. Our warriors destroyed two units of military vehicles and a motorcycle of the occupiers. Additionally, Ukrainian defenders inflicted significant damage to a multiple rocket launcher system and a cannon," the General Staff report states.

On January 12, Deepstate reported that the RF Armed Forces are gradually capturing Toretsk. According to analysts, the operational situation for Ukrainian defenders is continuing to deteriorate.

Subsequently, Deepstate analysts reported that the Russian army has completely occupied the city of Kurakhovo and is continuing its offensive. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the RF Armed Forces attempted to breach the Ukrainian defense near the city of Kurakhovo, but have not commented on the information regarding its occupation yet.
