The Minister of Science and Education of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovoy, responded to the concert performance of students from school number 309 in Kyiv, where they depicted the beating of a Ukrainian soldier. He described this incident as disgraceful. He wrote about it on his "Facebook" page.
"The video in which students from a Kyiv school stage a scene that displays blatant contempt for the 'military' is disgraceful and unacceptable in the third year of full-scale invasion and the 11th year of war. Personally, I find it shocking that none of those involved in preparing and participating in this scene felt any resistance," the minister stated.
He mentioned that he had a personal phone conversation with the school principal, demanding that she conduct an internal investigation and gather explanations from everyone involved in this "performance" and its preparation.
Meanwhile, juvenile police in Kyiv reported that they have launched an investigation into the student performance featuring a scene of a soldier being beaten.
"Information about the festive event, where students presented a play allegedly depicting the beating of a military officer, was found by law enforcement in social media. Currently, juvenile prevention officers from the Darnytsia police department are communicating with the school's administration, as well as with the underage 'actors'," the statement said.
Additionally, the Darnytsia District State Administration's education department has formed a commission. Based on the commission's findings, a corresponding assessment of this incident will be provided.
Earlier, near Kyiv, an injured professor from Lviv University, Stepan Bilchenko, was found. According to his friend Vladislav Kononov, this occurred after he was allegedly abducted by representatives of the military enlistment office in Lviv.
