Revenge for Mykolaiv: Ukrainian drones can carry 250-kilogram bombs, according to social media reports (photo).

Ukrainian drones delivered FAB-250 bombs to a military site in Russia's Bryansk region, according to a representative of the Defense Forces. Photos revealed that there was more than just a bomb under the drone's fuselage.

Ukrainian military personnel have attached a 250 kg warhead to a UAF drone. The drone, carrying the FAB-250 under its wings, flew towards the Bryansk region. The bomb had an inscription on its surface that reminded Russians of Mykolaiv and the civilians who lost their lives due to Russian missiles. Information about the new achievement of Ukrainian drones was shared on the Telegram channel of the representative of the Defense Forces "Mykolaiv Vanyk".

The message from "Vanyk" appeared online on the afternoon of January 30. The note indicated that the fighters of the 14th regiment of unmanned aerial complexes (UAC) struck targets in the "Bryansk Republic" the previous night. The author also recalled how Russians boasted about successfully shooting down all Ukrainian drones that attacked Russian territory.

"There are still many bombs to be shot down," he promised.

The note includes a photo of a drone fuselage of an undetermined model. It is evident that an aerial bomb, likely a FAB-250, is attached to the drone. The bomb bears the inscription "For Mykolaiv". It is worth noting that the type of warhead was indicated in the analytical channel VRB, whose author also pointed out a 120 mm caliber mine intended for striking the enemy.

On social media, the 14th UAC has yet to confirm the photo shown by "Mykolaiv Vanyk". Ukrainian command has also not reported on the strike.

UAF Drone Strike on Russia, January 30

Meanwhile, Russian media reported on events in the Bryansk region mentioned by "Vanyk". Russians released a series of videos on the night and morning of January 30, filmed in the Bryansk region. The videos showed footage of a fire near the settlements of Klimovo, Novozybkovo, and Mamay.

The Russian Ministry of Defense assured that there was an attack by two UAF drones, and all were supposedly shot down. However, satellite images revealed four points of ignition, and local residents reported a fire at the "Novozybkovo" station of the Druzhba oil pipeline.

It should be noted that the Druzhba oil pipeline has previously been targeted by Ukrainian strike capabilities. The last such incident occurred a month ago, on December 30, 2024. On that day, the Russian Ministry of Defense also reported that air defense forces shot down all drones, but footage from the strike site showed flames from a fire.

We remind you that on January 28, Russian forces struck Mykolaiv with a ballistic missile, hitting a high-rise building and resulting in casualties. Meanwhile, on January 30, Russians hit a house in Sumy with a "Shahed", breaching concrete walls in the process.
