In one of the capital's Mediterranean cuisine restaurants, they refused to serve a serviceman, citing the establishment's administration. Law enforcement has initiated a criminal investigation, as reported by the police in Kyiv.
"In connection with this incident, the police have launched a criminal case under part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — a serious violation of public order motivated by blatant disrespect for society. Currently, law enforcement is clarifying all circumstances," the statement reads.
It is worth noting that the penalty under this article includes a fine ranging from one thousand to two thousand tax-exempt minimum incomes of citizens, probation supervision for up to five years, or imprisonment for the same duration.
On the restaurant Noice's social media page, the establishment responded to the incident. They referred to it as an "unpleasant situation" and urged people not to react and "not to be swayed by the provocative information circulating on all social networks." They added that an official clarification would be provided soon.
Men in military uniform entered the Mediterranean restaurant Noice in Kyiv. However, the waiter did not allow them inside and refused to serve them, citing the administration's decision.
The video shows the waiter denying service to the serviceman. The outcome of the incident remains unknown.
Recall that recently in Zaporizhzhia, passersby helped a conscripted man evade mobilization by employees of the territorial recruitment and social support center. A crowd of women helped the man to his feet and urged him to run away from the serviceman in uniform.
Additionally, in the village of Dymer in Kyiv Oblast, there was a conflict between military personnel and civilians. The situation has not gone unnoticed by the authorities.
