Monday, January 13

• NBU. Release of the press release "Inflation Commentary". Inflation in Ukraine in 2024 increased to 12%, surpassing IMF forecasts. In the December NBU commentary, it was noted that inflation accelerated: “In the coming months, inflationary pressure will persist due to a lower supply of certain food products compared to last year, significant budget expenditures, high wage growth rates, and electricity shortages during the heating season.”

Tuesday, January 14

• State Statistics Service. Publication of "Foreign Trade in Goods".
• Ministry of Finance. Placement of domestic government bonds (OVDP) maturing in:
  • June 2026 (initial placement);
  • September 2027 (initial placement);
  • January 2029 (additional placement – UA4000234140).

According to the results of previous OVDP placements that took place on January 7, UAH 5.99 billion was raised for the state budget. The average yield was 15.07%, 16.15%, 16.44%, and 15.99% – depending on the bond series.

Wednesday, January 15

• NBU. Statistics on direct investments, balances by instruments, regional breakdown by countries, and by types of economic activity (Q3 2024).

Thursday, January 16

• NBU. Publication of “Business Expectations of Ukrainian Enterprises” for Q4 2024. Survey results from the previous quarter:
  • Indicate a slight revival in business activity in the next 12 months.
  • Respondents predict
