"Improvised skit": School No. 309 addressed the incident involving a staged beating of a soldier.

The principal of the school where the incident occurred decided to comment on the situation in the evening. She described the event as "unacceptable," assured that the skit was not part of the planned program, and promised to implement educational measures with the students.
"Импровизированная сценка": в школе №309 прокомментировали случай с инсценировкой избиения военнослужащего.

During a festive concert at capital school No. 309, students performed a play featuring a soldier: the plot involved a civilian assaulting him. Only after a video of the scene went viral, provoking outrage among Ukrainians, did Ukrainian Minister of Education Oksen Lisovoy comment on the incident, prompting the school's administration to issue a statement. The statement was released in the evening on February 17 by the school's principal, where the incident took place.

She apologized to everyone who felt "affected or offended" by the performance and provided details on the actions taken by the school and future plans to address the situation.

"We have already conducted an internal investigation, gathered explanations from all involved, and informed the relevant authorities," the principal wrote.

As a result of this "investigation," the head of the institution reported that the scene depicting the soldier's beating was not part of the planned festive program. Regarding the supervision of teachers over students' preparations, it was deemed "insufficient."

"The students who created the scene did not grasp the profound implications of their actions, viewing it as a joke without negative context," the statement noted.

Additionally, the principal mentioned that the school has already scheduled "educational activities" for the students. Among these are discussions with military personnel and a "series of lessons on media literacy." At the same time, the school will "enhance oversight" of the organization and execution of educational events, the principal assured.
