The short film "Rock, Paper, Scissors" by Franz Biem has won the BAFTA award for "Best British Short Film."

The film "Rock, Paper, Scissors," directed by Franz Biem, is dedicated to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
It is based on true events. The story centers around 18-year-old Ivan, whose father has been a surgeon since the war began. When Russian occupiers learn about a shelter where the wounded are located, the young man is forced to take up arms to protect his loved ones and those in need of help.
The film is directed by 26-year-old British-German Franz Biem, with cinematography by Sien Yu Niu, a native of Taiwan residing in London. The lead role of Ivan is played by Oleksandr Rudynskyi, while his father is portrayed by Serhii Kalantai.
