The attack on the largest Russian trading port, Ust-Luga, located in the Leningrad region, is the work of the Security Service of Ukraine.
This was reported to the Interfax-Ukraine agency by a source within the SBU.
According to the source, the video shows one of the drones hitting gas condensate containers.
“As a result of the strike, one container sustained significant damage, while three neighboring ones were shattered by the explosion debris. Experts say that repairs will take at least a month, provided that materials are available, and will undoubtedly lead to disruptions in the terminal's operations,” the agency's interlocutor added.
He also noted that the Ust-Luga terminal is a major logistics hub in the Baltic Sea—through it, Russia sells oil and gas using a "shadow" fleet.
“The drone sanctions from the SBU reduce the inflow of currency necessary for waging war. We declare the 'cotton season 2025' officially open,” the agency's source remarked.
