Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, motivated Ukrainians have gone to war. However, over the years, many volunteers have either died or lost their combat readiness. This is why the front lines require fresh forces. This was noted by Konstantin Nemichev, the founder of the special unit "KRAKEN," while commenting on the raids conducted by the territorial center for recruitment and social support.
The military official added that for the past 20 years, no one has focused on the patriotic education of citizens, with such efforts only being noticeable in the first half of 2022. Therefore, the main issue now is the lack of a National Idea among a large portion of Ukrainians. As a result, those who have not yet made a decision are left to contemplate merely surviving in this country or fleeing from it.
"An unmotivated society does not understand that it is vital to defend the country right now. This is why it is essential to recognize that the raids by the TCK are a necessary step dictated by the realities of war. However, the methods raise many questions," — emphasized Konstantin Nemichev.
According to him, failing to utilize the full potential could lead to a loss of independence and statehood. Therefore, forced mobilization is a necessity, "if we want to live in Ukraine." Otherwise, without protection, our cities and villages will be occupied, and Ukraine will be destroyed.
It is worth noting that in recent days, TCK employees have been conducting mass raids across Ukraine. Specifically, on Friday, October 11, after a concert by the band "Okean Elzy" near the Sports Palace in Kyiv, attendees experienced a "raid" by the TCK and police, which the military managed to respond to.
Additionally, TCK workers, along with police officers, attended a concert by popular stand-up comedian Anton Timoshenko at the Cherkasy Regional Philharmonic on October 12. The military also visited the restaurant "Sonata" in Lviv.
