Elections in Georgia: the ruling party emerged victorious
On October 26, parliamentary elections took place in Georgia. Currently, 99.3% of the votes have been counted, and the ruling party "Georgian Dream" has claimed victory.
According to the Central Election Commission, "Georgian Dream" received 54.23% of the votes.
The opposition party "Coalition for Change" garnered 10.8%, "Unity-National Movement" received 10.1%, "Strong Georgia" obtained 8.75%, and "Gakharia - for Georgia" secured 7.75%.
All other parties failed to surpass the five percent threshold and will not enter the parliament.
