The presidential elections and constitutional referendum on the country's European integration have concluded in Moldova. The Central Election Commission has released preliminary results after processing 50% of the ballots.

After processing 50% of the protocols, the incumbent president of Moldova, Maia Sandu, received 35.56% of the votes, while her opponent, Alexander Stoianoglo, garnered 29.31%.

These figures pertain to the processed protocols, not the total number of voters. More than 1.5 million citizens participated in the elections.

Additionally, according to the results of the referendum on incorporating the European course into the Constitution, 43.5% supported the amendment, while 56.5% opposed it. The vote counting is still ongoing.
