The Russian Armed Forces have occupied four more settlements in Donbas: here’s what we know.

Russians have occupied the villages of Dachenskoye, Novy Trud, Volkovo, and Novoelizavetovka in the Pokrovsky district of Donetsk region, according to analysts from the DeepState channel. Additionally, the aggressor has made advances in several other localities.

The Russian occupation army has entered the villages of Novoelizavetovka, Dachenskoe, Novy Trud, and Volkovo in the Pokrovsk district. This is reported by the DeepState community.

Additionally, it is noted that enemy forces have advanced in Zelenoe, Vozdvizhenska, Novovasilyevka, near Yantarnoye and Solntsevka.

Situation in the Pokrovsk direction: Information from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

According to reports from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day in the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders have halted 38 offensive actions by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Mirolubovka, Lisovka, Novy Trud, Peschanoye, Shevchenko, Uspenovka, Solenoye, and Novovasilyevka. In total, on Thursday, January 2, 138 combat encounters were recorded on the front.

A fighter with the callsign "Muchnoy" notes that in the area of Volkovo towards Kotlino, the enemy has achieved tactical successes in the Pokrovsk direction.

According to him, if the Russians enter Kotlino, along with Udachny and Mine No. 3, this could turn out to be a very solid foothold for an offensive on Pokrovsk from the west.

After the Russians occupied Vozdvizhenska, they quickly began moving north to cut off the route from Konstantinovka to Pokrovsk, the military reminded. He emphasized that combat brigades are urgently needed in this area to stop the enemy.

"Furthermore, the enemy is trying to bypass Lisovka from the west, establish themselves in the settlement of Zelenoe, and reach Chuninshino. Subsequently, this will include Novopavlovka and operations through the railway to Hnatovka and Rog," wrote "Muchnoy".

Ukrainian officer with the callsign "Alex" reported that the situation in the Pokrovsk direction is not favorable for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as the Russians have sufficient "manpower." The problems for the Russian Armed Forces currently lie only with their equipment, and the occupiers can no longer "waste" it as they did before.

At the same time, he noted that only one brigade of the Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk direction destroys 2-3 infantry platoons of the enemy daily and captures about a platoon of prisoners per month.
