A Nissan driver hit a mother with a 2-year-old child in Mykolaiv region

In Kryvyi Rih, a 72-year-old driver of a Nissan Almera struck a 35-year-old woman and her 2-year-old child, who was in a stroller. After the accident, the driver fled the scene.

According to the police in Mykolaiv region, the incident occurred on October 16 around noon on Nekrasova Street. The driver left the scene after hitting the woman and child.

The victims, the woman and her child, sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for medical assistance.

Employees of the Pervomaisk district department located the driver at his address. He turned out to be a resident of the neighboring Odesa region. A criminal investigation has been initiated regarding this incident.
