The Norwegian defense company Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, which manufactures munitions for NASAMS air defense systems, is set to establish a joint production facility in Ukraine within the coming months.
This was reported by the company's president, Eirik Lie, in an interview with Euractiv.
The president stated that the organization aims to establish a business in Ukraine and is actively negotiating with the Ukrainian side regarding the creation of a joint venture within the country.
He emphasized that Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace's primary objective is to increase the production of missiles for air defense systems in Ukraine using Ukrainian technology. According to Lie, this involves the serial production of over a hundred missiles.
