The draw for the 2025 Australian Open has taken place, and the Ukrainian players have learned who their opponents will be.

The participants of the main draw for the women's Australian Open 2025 have been determined, followed by the match draw.

All six Ukrainian players have learned the names of their opponents.

The top seed from Ukraine, Marta Kostyuk, received the 17th seed in the tournament and will face Japan's Nao Hibino in the first round, who successfully navigated through the qualifiers. Theoretically, Kostyuk's first seeded opponent could be Spain's Paula Badosa (No. 7).

Elina Svitolina will be seeded 28th in the tournament. In the first round, she will compete against Romania's Sorana Cîrstea. In the third round, Elina may meet Italy's Jasmine Paolini, who is the 4th seed.

Dayana Yastremska received the 32nd seed and will play against Egypt's Mayar Sherif in the first round.

A star-studded opponent awaits Angelina Kalinina, who will face former world No. 2 Ons Jabeur from Tunisia in the first round. Currently, the African player is ranked 40th in the world.

Yulia Starodubtseva immediately drew a seeded opponent, Canadian Leylah Fernandez (No. 30), while qualifier winner Daria Snihur will play against the 10th seed, Danielle Collins (USA).

The tournament kicks off on the night of Sunday, January 12. The schedule for the Ukrainian players' matches will be announced later.
