From now on, the "Shtrafy UA" app allows users to monitor and ensure the payment of parking fines. In just seconds, you can check, view photo confirmations, and pay fines in 19 cities across Ukraine, taking advantage of a 50% discount for prompt payment within 10 days of receiving the fine.
This was reported by the press service of "Shtrafy UA".
Until recently, parking fines were issued on "paper," which often led to legal issues and the towing of vehicles or other inconveniences.
"Drivers receive notifications about this type of violation 'under the windshield wiper.' For instance, we had a real case where a fine was stolen by a crow, and our users recorded it on video. We also frequently receive inquiries from users asking what to do because the fine was simply taken away, or their children grabbed it, or there were just adverse weather conditions: snow, rain, or wind. They learn about the fine only when unpleasant consequences begin, such as bank account blockages," said Daryna Dmytrova, head of the support service at "Shtrafy UA."
Currently, the new feature of "Shtrafy UA" operates in 19 pilot cities: Odesa, Dnipro, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Bila Tserkva, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi, Truskavets, Stryi, Drohobych, Sambir, Khust, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Zolotonosha, Volodymyr-Volynskyi, and Voznesensk.
According to public reports, over 230,000 fines have been processed in Kyiv in 2024, 130,000 violations in Dnipro, and 10,000 in Khmelnytskyi, among others.
Let us remind you that "Shtrafy UA" is a national service for drivers in Ukraine that has been operational since 2016. Currently, over 2.5 million drivers use the app. Throughout its existence, the service has sent over 340 million UAH to the Ukrainian budget for traffic violation fines.
