On January 24, the Cabinet of Ministers established the Agency for National Unity.
This was reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
According to the deputy, the main tasks of the agency are:
"It is also interesting that this agency will not be subordinated to the Ministry of Unity, but to the Ministry of Economy," Honcharenko clarified.
Recall that in August, President Zelensky announced the creation of a new ministry. At that time, a final name had not yet been established, but it was noted that this state institution would unite Ukrainians abroad, counter Russian narratives, protect the interests of Ukrainians, and facilitate their return.
Later, the Verkhovna Rada made the decision to appoint Oleksiy Chernyshov as Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of National Unity of Ukraine. A total of 237 deputies voted "in favor."
