Due to the massive shelling by Russian occupiers in Ukraine, electricity is being urgently shut down.
The Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko, reported this on Facebook.
“Another attack on Ukraine's energy system is underway. To minimize the potential consequences for the energy infrastructure, the transmission system operator is urgently implementing emergency electricity restrictions,” he wrote.
The minister noted that at night the enemy attacked Ukraine's gas infrastructure, and “as of this morning, the energy sector continues to be under threat.”
“As soon as the security situation allows, the consequences will be clarified. Please follow the official announcements,” Halushchenko recommended.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that emergency electricity outages were implemented on February 4 in eight regions.
