In Ukraine, emergency power outages follow attacks from the Russian Federation: Mykolaiv region has electricity

Due to a combined airstrike by Russian forces this morning, February 1, emergency outages are being implemented in several regions. These restrictions are currently in effect in seven areas.

The energy company reported that emergency outages due to enemy attacks are being applied in:

• Kharkiv,
• Sumy,
• Poltava,
• Donetsk,
• Kirovohrad,
• Zaporizhzhia,
• Dnipropetrovsk regions.

According to Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, preventive measures for power restrictions have been taken.

"The enemy continues its energy terror! Due to the attacks, the transmission system operator is urgently implementing preventive measures," the official stated on their Facebook page.

He also urged citizens to monitor official announcements.
