Tanks were spotted on the streets of N'Djamena, and all roads leading to the presidential residence are blocked.
According to eyewitness Abbas Mahamout Seyid, "military vehicles are moving from all directions."
It is noteworthy that the incident occurred less than two weeks after the controversial general elections in the country. Chad, located in northern Africa, remains in a tense political situation, and recent events have only heightened the uncertainty.
It should be noted that the French state has been actively involved in military operations in the Sahel region over the past decade, aiming to combat jihadist groups linked to "Al-Qaeda" and "Islamic State." During this period, 58 French soldiers lost their lives in the conflict zone.
