On October 16, a violation of environmental legislation was recorded in Mykolaiv. In the territory of the memorial park of garden and park art "Fleet Boulevard," an employee of the KP "Mykolaiv Parks" was dismantling paving slabs using heavy equipment, which resulted in the damage of a lawn area of 32 square meters.

This was reported by the State Environmental Inspection of the Southwestern District.

The violation of the requirements of the laws of Ukraine "On Plant Life" and "On the Natural Reserve Fund of Ukraine" has been recorded, and a protocol on an administrative offense has been drawn up against the worker under Article 91 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

The damage caused by the lawn's deterioration is estimated to exceed 87,000 hryvnias.

The case regarding the administrative offense has been forwarded to the Central District Court of Mykolaiv for consideration and to hold the guilty party accountable.
