In Mykolaiv, water quality was checked at dispensing points: deviations found

Specialists from the Mykolaiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention under the Ministry of Health examined the quality of drinking water at the city's dispensing points.

On February 3, specialists collected water samples from five dispensing points located at the following addresses:

Free Street, 38-K
- Yantarno Street, 67-B
- Medikov Street (Hlynky), 8-K
- 12 Prodlina Street, 45
- Slobodskaya Street, 6, 45

These points are managed by the Municipal Enterprise "Mykolaivoblteploenergo" in the Korabelny, Ingulsky, and Central districts of Mykolaiv.

A thorough analysis of the water samples was conducted in the laboratory, checking for compliance with state sanitary and epidemiological standards.

The results of the study indicated that the water quality meets the aforementioned state sanitary norms. However, deviations in the hydrogen indicator from the norm were found in 2 water samples from Medikov Street (Hlynky), 8-K, and Slobodskaya Street, 6, 45.

Recommendations have been provided to the administration of the Municipal Enterprise "Mykolaivoblteploenergo" to improve the water quality at the specified dispensing points to meet state sanitary and epidemiological standards.

The Mykolaiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention will continue to monitor the quality of drinking water in the region so that residents can be assured of its safety.
