A significant military facility for the enemy was attacked in Kursk. Prior to this, Russians reported a massive drone assault.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of Andrey Kovalenko, head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CCD).
"A critical military facility was attacked in Kursk," Kovalenko wrote.
The military command has yet to comment on the attack.
It is worth noting that the video released by the head of the CCD was published in Russian Telegram channels back on January 5. At that time, the enemy complained about a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
In early August 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched an offensive operation in the Kursk region. By autumn, as reported by Western media, our troops had lost over 40% of the territories in the region that were under their control. However, it was recently revealed that Defense Forces began attacking the enemy on several fronts.
Additionally, since the beginning of 2024, the Defense Forces have been regularly striking military targets and oil refineries (ORs) on Russian territory. This is necessary to weaken the military infrastructure of the terrorist state and reduce its capacity to supply fuel for military needs. For instance, recently the "Druzhba" oil pipeline in the Bryansk region was attacked.
