In Ukraine, businesses will have their deadline for criticality updates and the ability to reserve employees extended until March 31.
During the Forum "Ukraine. Year 2025," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated, as reported by a correspondent from Ukrinform.
“We are discussing the possibility of extending this deadline so that enterprises that truly meet the criteria of criticality based on revenue, average salary (which, I remind you, should not be less than 20 thousand hryvnias per enterprise and for each hired employee), and export earnings can reserve their employees,” explained Ukraine's Minister of Economy, Yuliya Svyrydenko.
According to her, a certain balance has been achieved during the reservation process, although discussions on this matter continue. This allows businesses that operate diligently and pay taxes to reserve up to 50% of their workforce. Such enterprises contribute to the state budget and support the strengthening of the security and defense sector.
“Due to the fact that state registries were subjected to a cyberattack and were inaccessible for over 20 days, the Government will extend this opportunity for one more month—until March 31—because the system was almost non-functional for a month due to the enemy's attack,” Shmyhal confirmed.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that employees of heating companies, water utilities, and waste management services will be able to receive reservations from mobilization. Businesses are allowed to reserve up to 75% of their military-registered employees.
