In 2024, Ukraine reached a pre-war export level of $24.5 billion, which accounted for 59% of total exports.
This was reported by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Vitaliy Koval.
"This marks the second historical record (in 2021, the corresponding amount was $27.7 billion)," the statement reads.
According to the ministry, last year Ukraine exported a total of 78.3 million tons of agricultural products.
It is noted that the largest share comes from sunflower oil – 21%. Nearly 6 million tons were exported for $5.1 billion.
Corn ranks second with 21%, with 29.6 million tons exported for $5 billion. Wheat is third at 15%, totaling 20.6 million tons for $3.7 billion.
