In 2024, Ukraine has returned to pre-war trade levels, exporting nearly 130 million tons of goods worth over $41 billion.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported this information.
“In 2024, we have effectively reached pre-war trade levels. Ukraine exported almost 130 million tons of goods worth more than $41 billion,” he noted.
According to the head of the government, such volumes were made possible thanks to the Ukrainian maritime corridor and the operation of ports, which handled over 97 million tons of cargo in 2024.
“Our goal in this direction is to reduce raw material exports and increase processed goods exports. This is one of the key principles of the 'Made in Ukraine' policy,” he added.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that Ukraine has returned to pre-war export levels of agricultural products, which accounted for over half of Ukraine's exports in 2024.
