Ukrainian singer Olya Polyakova has decided to support a 12-year-old girl who was beaten by teenagers in Bila Tserkva. She shared her supportive posts in Instagram stories.

The singer was unable to watch the video in its entirety due to the extreme display of cruelty by the teenagers. Polyakova admitted that she also experienced bullying as a child, having been beaten at camp.

"I want to say that bullying has no place in our country. It is unacceptable. I will definitely ensure that this story does not get swept under the rug and that all those responsible face punishment," — she promises.

Additionally, the artist noted that children are a reflection of adult Ukrainians. Currently, in her observation, there is a notable presence of "a lot of hate and animosity."

"There is terrible hatred all around; Ukrainians are tearing each other apart. Hate online, impunity. Children are our reflection. People, wake up!" — Polyakova urged at the end of her address.

Beating of the girl in Bila Tserkva: what happened?

A group of teenagers decided to settle scores with a girl in the forest of Bila Tserkva. The incident became known on January 20 after a video of the conflict was published on local Telegram channels.

Other boys took turns approaching the schoolgirl and striking her with their hands and feet. The participants in the beating did not hide their faces from the camera. Police visited the home of a 16-year-old teenager and handed him a notice of suspicion for torture and extortion of money. He now faces a prison sentence of seven to 12 years.

It was later revealed that the beating involved 10 schoolchildren aged between 10 and 16. The teenagers believed that the victim was allegedly spreading rumors about them and also damaged the door of one of the participants. They demanded money from her to cover the cost of repairing the door.

Recall that Ukrainian singer and blogger Anna Trincher previously mentioned that she was laughed at in school because of her appearance.

Former bodyguard of Michael Jackson, Matt Fiddes, who worked with him for over 10 years, recently revealed the secret behind why the singer underwent his first plastic surgery. Michael was often teased about the size of his nose, and he underwent his first rhinoplasty in 1979.
