Ukrainian artillery destroyed a state-of-the-art Russian missile system valued at $135 million (video).

Servicemen from the separate artillery reconnaissance brigade "Black Forest" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed a Russian S-350 "Vityaz" anti-aircraft missile system. This was reported by the press service of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia".

"Thanks to the skillful actions of the brigade's scouts, the newest Russian medium and short-range anti-aircraft missile system S-350 'Vityaz' was detected and destroyed," the statement said.

The OSUV "Khortytsia" clarified that the destruction of the enemy air defense system took place in the Donetsk region.

"Every such explosion and the destruction of important samples of the occupying army's weaponry reduce the enemy's capabilities on the battlefield for an extended period," remarked Ukrainian soldiers.

The OSUV "Khortytsia" also explained that the S-350 "Vityaz" is a new generation Russian medium-range anti-aircraft missile system, with an estimated cost of around 135 million dollars.

Recall that a few days ago, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an assault by the Russian Armed Forces near the village of Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region.
