Uklon has officially confirmed that it is currently in negotiations with Kyivstar regarding a potential agreement. This move will only be possible after receiving approval from the Antimonopoly Committee (AMC).
CEO of Uklon, Serhiy Hryshkov, shared this information in a comment to AIN.UA.
“Over the past few years, the company has received offers from various investors, which have been considered. However, we are now at a point where the dialogue between us and the potential investor, Kyivstar, is in a qualitatively new phase. There is a mutual interest from both our companies in this agreement. Therefore, we are currently discussing the intention to finalize this agreement after receiving approval from the AMC and completing all other stages,” Hryshkov stated.
He noted that if the agreement is successfully concluded, the investments will be directed towards the development of digital services, entering new markets, and strengthening the team. The closing of the deal will not affect the company's structure or management changes.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the telecom company Kyivstar submitted an application to the Antimonopoly Committee (AMC) for permission to purchase the Uklon taxi service. The mobile operator also announced similar agreements with other companies.
