On the evening of Friday, October 25, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Dnipro, damaging residential buildings in the city. Three people were killed, and the number of injured has risen to 19.
This information was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
“In Dnipro, three individuals have died, including a child. There are 19 injured, of whom four are children. Eight individuals have been hospitalized.
The night missile attack caused destruction at several locations in the city.
A two-story residential building and a garage were destroyed. Thirteen apartment buildings and two private homes were damaged, along with 30 vehicles. The hospital buildings were also disfigured.
As soon as the explosions occurred, all emergency services rushed to assist the people - the State Emergency Service, ambulances, and police. Charitable organizations are also active, providing hot meals and drinks. Psychological support was offered to locals. Utility workers have already removed 80 tons of construction debris.
The aggressor also targeted the Nikopol region – the district center and the Marhanets community. Kamikaze drones and artillery were used, damaging infrastructure. However, the people are safe,” the report stated.
According to the National Police of Ukraine, among the deceased are two women aged 45 and 48, and a 14-year-old child. Among the injured are four children and two police officers. A mobile police headquarters has been set up at the attack sites to assist the victims, where investigators have been taking statements and providing consultations throughout the night.
Law enforcement officers also joined the rescue operation at the site of the destroyed two-story residential building.
