In Istanbul, negotiations took place between delegations from Russia and the USA regarding the operational issues of their embassies.

The meeting lasted six and a half hours. The negotiations concluded without comments for the press. After the meeting, a vehicle carrying the Russian delegation left the grounds of the US Consul General's residence in Istanbul.
At the same time, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov previously noted that the results of the negotiations would be “provided one way or another.”
Two prior technical contacts between Moscow and Washington on this topic preceded the meeting, the agency writes.
The news agency Anadolu also reported on the conclusion of the negotiations. They added that the delegations met at the residence of the US Consulate General in Istanbul to discuss embassy operations as part of efforts to normalize bilateral relations.
