The Ministry of Justice is continuing its efforts to restore state registries following a large-scale Russian cyberattack. Some of these registries have already been successfully restored, while others are still in the recovery process.
First Deputy Minister of Justice Mykola Kucheriavenko announced this information.
According to him, critical registries have already been restored. However, the registries for encumbrances and movable property, as well as the registry of enforcement proceedings, are still undergoing restoration.
Kucheriavenko stated that the launch of all services is planned for the end of January.
"Unlike the state registry of civil status acts or the Unified State Register, which were restored in phases, the registries that are currently non-operational can only be restored simultaneously due to their close interconnection," the Deputy Minister explained.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that the state registries of Ukraine experienced the largest cyberattack in recent times. This was announced on Thursday evening, December 19, by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Olha Stefanishyna.
