In the night of February 5th, drones targeted Russian military facilities in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia.

The regional governor, Veniamin Kondratiev, wrote about this on Telegram.

“In the village of Novominskaya in the Kanivsky district, debris from the UAV fell onto a tank containing minor residues of petroleum products. A fire broke out, and it was assigned a second level of complexity,” Kondratiev stated.

According to the governor, 55 individuals and 19 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the tank.

According to data from the Astra Telegram channel, the targeted oil depot belongs to LLC "Albashnafta".

Russian media claim that the fire was reportedly extinguished only by 08:11 Moscow time.

A video has also surfaced online, purportedly capturing the moment of the drone debris impact.

On the company's website, it is stated that it is a “dynamically developing enterprise, primarily engaged in the production of petroleum products” and is “the only oil refining enterprise in the territory of the Kanivsky district of Krasnodar Krai.” The declared processing capacity is up to 320,000 tons of hydrocarbon raw materials per year.

In the morning of February 5th, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the “destruction of four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles”: two over the Kursk region and two over the Belgorod region.
