Ukrainians will be able to receive financial assistance for sports activities once every three months. This new service is available for combat veterans and individuals with disabilities resulting from the war.
Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov shared this information in a Telegram post, as reported.
"We are launching a new program together with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs – Veteran Sports, which will help Defenders recover and return to an active life," he noted.
The service is available to veterans aged 18 and older. To qualify, one must have a taxpayer identification code and a verified status in the veterans' registry.
It's not necessary to have a certificate in the "Diiа" app. An automatic transfer of 1500 UAH will be made to the card for gym, section, and club payments.
