The White House has confirmed that it is halting military aid to Ukraine.

"We are no longer going to simply issue checks for a war in a distant country without a genuine, lasting peace," stated a White House spokesperson.
В Белом доме подтвердили, что прекращают военную помощь Украине.

The U.S. administration is halting military support for Ukraine and is focusing on finding a diplomatic resolution to the conflict.

This was stated in an interview with Fox News by White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt.

“The Trump administration is stopping the funding of the conflict in Ukraine, as the priority is peaceful negotiations. We are no longer going to simply write checks for a war in a very distant country without a genuine, lasting peace,” Levitt emphasized.

According to the White House press secretary, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky needs to change his behavior and rhetoric; otherwise, he “will not be able to reach an agreement.”

Levitt also placed responsibility on him regarding the dispute with U.S. President Donald Trump that occurred during their meeting in Washington on February 28.

Earlier, The Washington Post, citing a senior official in the U.S. administration, reported that the White House is considering a complete halt to military aid supplies to Kyiv. According to the source, this concerns weapons worth billions of dollars, including radars, armored vehicles, ammunition, and missiles that were scheduled for shipment to Ukraine.

Moreover, The New York Times, referencing an official in the White House, wrote that indirect support from the United States, which includes other types of military funding, intelligence sharing, training for Ukrainian military personnel and pilots, and the establishment of a call center managing international assistance at a U.S. military base in Germany, is also in question.
