The IDF eliminated a group of terrorists in the West Bank.

The Israel Defense Forces and Border Police have eliminated a group of terrorists who were wanted. The operation was conducted as part of a counter-terrorism initiative in the West Bank.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the Israel Defense Forces.

It is noted that the military continues the counter-terrorism operation in northern Samaria.

During the operational activities, more than 10 terrorists were eliminated, around 20 wanted suspects were detained, and additional weapons were confiscated.

Additionally, the Israeli Air Force carried out an airstrike on a vehicle containing a terrorist cell in the area of the city of Qabatiya.

Peace Agreement Between Israel and HAMAS

Israel and the HAMAS group reached an agreement on a ceasefire and mutual exchange of hostages, who were captured during the militants' invasion from the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, after lengthy negotiations on January 16.

On January 19, the terrorists released the first three women from captivity, while the Israeli military released 90 prisoners from Palestine.

HAMAS plans to release four more hostages from Israel.

On January 21, the Israeli military announced the start of a counter-terrorism operation in the West Bank.
